Mostly CASED...from Julie Ebersole

Cardbase - Memory Box; All stamps (EXCEPT sentiment & pink flower) - A Muse; sentiment stamp - Papertrey Ink; Pink Flower stamp - Savvy; Memento Inks; Copics, Spicas; Marvy punch.

This card is VERY nearly the card we did in one of Julie's classes held at The Paper Garden. The woman is massively talented (and talk about personality - whoa Nelly, can't wait until she comes back to town!!)....I don't think I've seen a card of her's that I didn't like - her cards speak to me....could she be The Card Whisperer???

Anyhow, I really liked the idea of the card so I did just a smidgeon of tweaking and Ta-Dah....here it is. I can see I'm totally loving, Loving, LOVING the kiwi-green color..........I'm even making some of my Halloween cards with it (what??? Too early for Halloween?? Oh you SILLY thing - it's NEVER too early [or late] for Halloweenie!!).

Are You Seeing Spots?

Cardbase - Memory Box; Stamps - CTMH; Inks - Memento & Colorbox; Brad - Making Memories; B&T - something Creepella gave me from her stash (source unknown).

This is my lame attempt at a not-so-girly card.....I definitely need to work on it......hmmm, should have lost the ribbon at least!! Oh well, I'll try, try again (and again and again and again....).

Happy B-Day Miles - BEEP, BEEP!!

Stamps, Ribbon, cardbase, cardstock - A Muse; Ink - Memento; Copics, Spicas.

This is a b-day card for my favorite 3-year, Mr. Miles!! I loved this card so much, I even made it for the A Muse Addicts monthly swap. These colors are so cheery and bright - it just makes me smile!!

Slinged Wing

Stamps - Memory Box penguin, "ouch" - unknown; B&T paper - unknown; Inks - Memento, CTMH, Colorbox; Copics, Stickles

A Get Well card for the latest Batch O' Cards that we're getting ready to sell. This penguin is from Dave's latest release - he's so cute (the penguin that is - although I'm sure Dave is cute too)!! I'm thinking the B&T paper is at least 9 years old......but it looked "cold" and kind of "icy" to me - so there you go!

I'm Baaaaaaaack!!

Is this a cool photo or what? It was taken in June at my brother & sister-in-law's home. He's creating this beautiful pond/stream/brook water feature in their backyard - it's not quite done, but you can tell how gorgeous it will be upon completion. She's the master gardener (I think she can make weeds beautiful.....sigh). The main focus of this particular photo is NOT the metal dragonfly, it's the MUCH smaller and OH-SO cool REAL reddish-orange dragonflies (one is way out on the tip of the top left wing and the other one is on the top right wing of the metal dragonfly). I don't see many red dragonflies, so I was pretty entralled with these guys...as soon as they caught my eye - I just knew I would be making another dragonfly card!!

And yes, I'm hanging my head in shame - I'm a pathetic blogger. I bet I've lost the interest of the 3 people that ever even looked at this blog!! Bobber-Wobbers is completely disgusted with my lack of blogging on OUR blog - he's giving me the cold shoulder big time. And as he's not the best typist, he relies on me to get the posting part of the job done. Well, can't cry over lost blogging time, so we'll just forge ahead in the great big wild..........

Come on back - there will be some brand-spanking new card posts in the next few days!!

Mod Vase

CB - Memory Box; Stamps...Vase & greenery - CTMH, "thank you" - Papertrey Ink, oval - A Muse; Inks - Memento, CTMH & Colorbox; Paper flowers & leaves - CTMH; Gemstones - Hero Arts; punches - Stampin' Up.

Sometimes I surprise myself - like with this card...I kind of had a picture of it in my head when I was looking at the stamps, but after it was done - WOW, it surpassed my vision....and in a good way too!! My daughter Creepella even likes this card (which generally speaking she likes most of my cards, but in a very, "Oh yeah mom, that's nice - cute card, ah-ha....can I go back to what I was doing??" way). Now I'm pretty excited to use more of the stamps from this CTMH set.......off to stamp!
