I love paper, I mean I REALLY love paper - I have all of my life. As a kid, one of my greatest thrills was to get index cards in color. Last year, we did some major remodeling - when it came to packing up my paper and moving it, my family was horrified. They had NO idea how much paper I actually had (and they STILL don't really know as I stored some of it in various plastic containers and put non-paper related items on top as decoys - just in case they peeked in the containers). Recently, a scrapbook store closed and EVERYTHING was for sale - including their heavy-duty paper racks. I thought I'd get a couple, called my husband to run it by him - he said to get FIVE racks. How silly!! I don't want to look like a store for heaven's sake, I just want a better way to store my paper......so hmmm, I think I'll get four racks. And yet now, I'm looking at the 240 slots for paper and thinking, "YIKES, I should have listened to him and gotten five racks....!!" Hi, my name is Kathy and I'm a Paper Hoarder...

About Me
Whew - there's a lot going on in this card!! This was for a card swap with the A Muse Addicts group and the "theme" was to tell a little bit about yourself. Aside from giving my age, height and weight - what DIDN'T I tell about myself??? So let me 'splain....I'm partial to orange; I'm half Japanese; I LOVE Halloween (my favorite holiday!); I love to read and having a hot cup of tea or coffee while reading is a small piece of heaven; Harry Potter is JK Rowling's gift to mankind; I'm Kathy with a K; love the beach/ocean (AND I was able to slip in a salute to one of my favorite shows, "Deadliest Catch"); Arrrgh...but I've been smitten with Pirates since my first trip to Disneyland (no insult intended to Mr. Depp's Capt. Jack version, of course); a Stamp Shop.......sigh........my favorite is The Paper Garden - and all of this equals a GOOD life indeed.

Love Monster
I love this little monster.......he's so cute. Missy Ballance (an A Muse artist) is the nicest woman, she's so fun and lively - part of her personality is in her designs. While it's kind of a weird color combination - because of the whole "monster theme" - it all seemed to fit. And hey, save those ribbon scraps - you never know when you'll need them (I only had to "cut" a few pieces to finish off the fringe).....treasures are EVERYWHERE....

Cook Off
A B-day card for someone who's into grilling and is an Alton Brown fan (oh, and he's got a good sense of humor too!!).
